Some of my favourite moments

The last two weeks at forest camp have been absolutely amazing.  I got to experience so much in such a short period of time.  Some of my favourite moments:

Wrangling in a monster size hog-nose snake, and attempting to pin it was such an adrenaline rush (o.k. it wasn’t huge, but it was mean and scary ! and we got it on film!)

Being lucky enough to help process our first mouse-lemur (of the phase) to be caught in a Sherman trap was so cool.  They really are so cute you want to scream.

Listening to and working with the local medicine man was so interesting.  He provided such an intriguing insight into Malagasy culture.

So much more could be said about the forest, but don’t have time.  Our group is heading out to the marine camp today!
