Frontier Student Representatives
Becoming a Frontier Student Representative
The Frontier Student Representatives Scheme is a re-vamp of our Campus Reps program. It is a chance for University students to promote the organisation and our projects in return for earning commissions on sales leads you generate.
We at Frontier are dedicated to safeguarding biodiversity and building sustainable livelihoods for marginalised communities, while also giving young people the chance to explore the world, make lasting friendships and learn valuable skills. This is where you come in!
We are looking for talented and confident university students to become Frontier student representatives, where you can help spread the word about our groundbreaking research and amazing volunteering opportunities. You can balance this alongside your university work with our flexible schedule and will earn commission for sales that you generate.
What it Involves:
Your main focus will be to raise awareness of Frontier’s amazing volunteering and travelling opportunities with the students at your university, with the aim of generating sales leads. This role allows you to use your creativity and initiative in the different ways that you can endorse Frontier. Whether you hold impromptu group meetings in a coffee shop or attend university fairs as our representative, the choice is up to you. Your work may also include writing articles on some of the recent threats to biodiversity or habitats, be it globally or an issue facing your university, to try and get more people involved in conservation. As a student representative you will be a key member of our team and will play an important role in the protection of endangered species and threatened habitats around the world.
This role has been designed with university students in mind, and as such the flexible schedule has been introduced to fit around and help you prioritise your university deadlines. During your time with Frontier you will receive the full support of your manager, who will be there to answer any questions you have and help to make you the most effective student representative possible.
The sales training that you will be given will also be subsidised by our Weekly Sales Development Course which will include interviews and TedTalks from industry-leading figures, and has been created to further not only your sales technique but also your personal development. Furthermore, for each successful sales lead that you provide to our sales department, you will receive between 5% and 10% commission. Finally, at the end of your time as a student representative you will be given a reference from an industry leading conservation NGO, something which is invaluable in the competitive industry of conservation.
